Quality Inspectors
The Quality Inspector position is a hands-on, challenging, and responsible position that requires a flexible schedule, reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.

Location:
AQL-Inc is looking for quality inspectors in the following regions :
- US: Michigan & Great Detroit Area
- US: Midwest (Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin)
- US: Ohio, Kentucky
- US: North Carolina, South Carolina
- US: Georgia, Alabama, Texas
- Canada: Ontario State
Responsibilities:
- Quality Inspectors travel to client sites throughout our service areas to inspect, sort and rework automotive components.
- Candidates must have strong written and verbal skills be a team player and a self-starter.
- Candidates must be available any of 3 shifts and have reliable means of transportation
- As a service provider to the automotive industry, we cannot guarantee a fixed schedule. Work schedule is subject to client needs and employee availability.
- Responsible for building and maintaining healthy relationships with customer representatives
Qualifications:
- Candidates will have experience in a manufacturing setting/ plant environment
- A basic understanding of the automotive industry’s operations and needs
- Reliable transportation to workplace
- Attention to ‘detail’ and good ‘hand-eye’ coordination
- Ability to learn quickly and follow work instructions carefully
Contract Quality and Supplier Quality Engineers
We are frequently requested by our OEM and Tier 1 customers to provide contract quality and supplier quality engineers for their quality initiatives. Most contracts range in duration from 2 to 6 months, but could go upto 12 months. Occasionally they lead to full time employment with our customers. Remuneration is dependent on the responsibilities assigned to the engineer in conjunction with their individual skill sets.

AQL-Inc is looking for Quality Engineers and Supplier Quality Engineers on 3-12 month contract basis in the following regions :

- US: Georgia, Alabama
- Canada: Ontario State
Responsibilities:
- Conducting quality system assessments and/or layered process audits
- Managing different aspects of product launch
- Development/revision of Process Flow Diagrams, FMEAs and Control Plans
- Facilitating problem solving activities with limited information and data.
- Investigating product failures to determine root cause and corrective action
- Implementing containments and product sorts
- Developing inspection and rework instructions
- Conducting dimensional layouts, assembling sample submission packages
- Reviewing supplier sample submissions
- Representing client company at their customer’s facilities
- Interacting daily with suppliers

Shift/ Site Supervisor

AQL-Inc is looking for dynamic and responsible individuals to take on supervision roles in multiple US and Canadian locations:
- US: Michigan & Great Detroit Area
- US: Midwest (Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin)
- US: Ohio, Kentucky
- US: North Carolina, South Carolina
- US: Georgia, Alabama
- Canada: Ontario State
Responsibilities:
- Willing to travel at short notice (Very Important).
- Manage facility activities as required.
- Communicate with customers regarding staffing/data/problems/new activities
- Compile data sheets and assist with reports.
- Perform part inspections to ensure compliance
- Supervise various sorts & inspectors (time sheets, assign duties, training, etc)
- Conduct audits
- Create work instructions and train inspectors
- Act as impartial 3rd party
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required. Post Secondary education is desirable
- Good computer and typing skills as well as proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
- Previous supervisory experience an asset
- Knowledge of automotive industry
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Must be flexible regarding shifts and overtime
- Ability to take initiative and recognize needs
